Murders in the Rue Morgue..................E. A. Poe

Hi, am back from Portugal where it has been very hot and now I'm freezing cold in Wellingborough, UK........brrrrrrrrrr.  Had a terrific holiday thanks and met some smashing people.

Gingersnap Creations are focussing on the Raven this week, so couldn't miss the opportunity to show you Isadora, if you look hard you will be able to see the Raven................aaaah, poor Isadora she is waiting for her lover Henri and of course he never turned up.............such a rotter.............the medallion she is holding was a token of Henri's love.  As Poe says ''Believe only half of what you See and nothing that you Hear''

Here is a list of the products used to make this project:  Skeleton from QD (99p)  Watercolour Crayons, Beads, Pin, Black Nail Varnish, Black Acrylic Paint, Denim and Cranberry Alcohol Inks, Air Dry Clay, Tim Holtz Embossing Folder, Kitchen Foil and Chipboard.

I hope to get around to see all your blogs this week as have missed seeing your wonderful creations.  Thank you for popping in and take care, hugs Annette xx

Very eerie! First glance I thought of the day of the dead. As for Nepenthe, I think we must naturally chemically produce the substance in our bodies as we get older. LOL

Hi Annette Glad to see you back and hear that you had a great holiday. Yes things here are awful in Greece but not watching TV or reading newspapers helps a lot lol t o be honest spending most of my time in London at the moment with my friend so am missing out on all of the drama. Your work once again is outstanding, spooky scary and beautifully created, hope all is well with you and yours. Take care and have a restful and creative weekend.
