Summer of Color 2 - Icecream Inspirations

Hi, the Summer of Color 2 has started and its all about using Icecream color inspirations which has been dream't up by Kristin of Twinkle Twinkle (see my sidebar).  This week its Rainbow

This page was painted with acrylics and a stamped background.  The little bird was added digitally.
Am way behind with my entry, they already have 84 entries, wow how great is that.........

Andrea also sent me some diecuts, which is wonderful.  Thank you Andrea for this brilliant prize.

My husband is improving each day which is marvellous and my mother who is 87 had a hysterectomy on Monday and is doing well...................yep this has been a most stressful time.  But hopefully things are looking a whole lot better.  I will do my very best to catch up with all of your blogs but it could take me some time.

The Voodoo Sisters for the new Smudger Challenge

Hi, Andrea from Smudgetastic has started a challenge blog called Smudger Challenge she is well known for her wonderfully dark and macabre projects.  This is one of her digi's - its called Voodoo Girl and I totally love her.

The challenge this week is to create a Tag, it doesn't have to be dark, which is just as well  as don't do dark very well.  You can find out all about it either on my sidebar or tapping the title of this post.

Products used 'Voodoo Girl', Distress Inks, Stickles, Glitter, Whisper Pens, Beads and Yarn.

I hope you like the Voodoo Sisters as it was great fun to make.  Andrea would love it if you would join in the challenge this week as she has a totally unique prize...................what is it I hear you cry........well you will just have to pop over to Smudger's and have a look won't you...............lol

On a personal level we set off to the Steam Fair at Rushden called Cavalcade only to find out it had been cancelled................drat this blooming weather.  Tomorrow we are off to a family lunch with my Mother holding court..............oooh she loves that..............so us kids have to be on our best behaviour..........lol
