CHALLENGE 3 ALCOHOL MONOPRINTS PART 2

Hi,

After my first effort on using this technique, I tried again today, with different results. Its amazing you just don't know whats going to happen, this has been a real adventure for me. So hopefully I will be able to enter another one, not sure what the rules are, but I thank you Linda for getting me started on this. Have craft mat on order, in the meantime I took the advice of other crafters who left me advice on my first one and it really helped a lot, thank you.......shan't use a placky bag again......what was I thinking, daft or what.......no don't answer that...... lol
Not sure which one to enter, but have to choose...mmmmm I think the Cat one, I've called it 'Waiting' and the other one 'Lost in the Forest'. I have used the same forest background stamp from ISC, the cat and dragonfly were freebies from Craft Stamper Mag and the girl is from Inkadinkado.

Hope you like them as am addicted now......... Thank you for popping in and all comments and advice are very welcome. Enjoy the rest of the day, now am off to blog hop and see what my lovely friends have made today. Annette x

Annette, I love your monoprint kitty card! I would hang that on my wall-- it's wonderful! Thanks for sending another beautiful work of art for the Compendium Challenge! I don't know if InLinkz will accept two from the same address, but I'll see if I can link it from my side.

Hugs,
Linda

Both cards are great, but on your cat one you got the colors placed just right for lights and shadows, or was that a happy accident? :-)You'll really like the craft mat.

Oh my goodness..these are stunning, I love the cat, that forest stamp is just gorgeous and the placement of the colours is spot on...see they say practice makes perfect (not that you were far off with your first attempt it was that darned plastic bags fault!)...I too love this technique so understand your addiction - just waiting for restock of my glossy card! Oh, those should hang on the wall!! Preferably on MY wall!! lol
BTW Netty, I have couple of little things that are sitting with no use here and I'm FAIRLY sure they'd be a lot happier in your craft room. I bought them when I was still trying to figure out what my style was and they should be a lot more down your alley. Cause I'm useless with stuff like that. My email is on my blog side bar, I'm not a mad stalker, honest. Just would love to see things in happy home. :)
Hugs

Here we go again. I tried earlier but was cast out!
I'm back to try again.

Stunning work Netty. You are producing fantastic stuff at the mo. What are you on and can I have some? LOL :)

BTW you don't have to worry about catching me as I bounce high into the sky - I refuse to trampoline!

Hi Nettie

I am in catching up mode at last and what lovely creations I have missed from you.

You are doing really well with your inks .. .. I got a craft sheet from the cooking section of our local Poundsaver shop. Great value for money.

I hope that I can make something that looks as good as you are making once I get to use it.

Love Jules xx
