POSTCARD - UNIQUE !!

Hi

We went to Sywell Airport this morning to look at a few vintage planes; the tiny airport is mainly used for teaching. It was built in the 1920's or 1930's and still maintains all its wonderful features, also a great place for a drink, meal or simply a coffee. Then we went onto Beckworth Emporium, which is a garden centre a la carte, just love the place. Sadly they don't sell craft things but do sell wonderful fresh local produce.......etc so if you are ever around this way they are great places to go. Well thats enough of the travelogue, which leads me quite neatly into my Postcard.........lol

Made from corrugated card, hessian, string, and a Tim Holtz embossing folder, chipboard shape, brass charm, couple of stamps, embossing powders and enamel. Also used gold coloured paper fasteners which after attaching, hammered down and pierced 4 holes in them, so they look a bit like buttons, quite pleased with them.

Thank you for popping in and hope you like the Postcard. Many thanks for all your comments. Annette x

I love the embossing folder you used on this, it really goes well with all the other elements. I have only just got my hands on a couple of the embossing folders and I absolutely love them.

Netty this is so gorgeous! I love the rugged look of it with all that texture. But I couldn't find in your narrative where we were invited to visit the vintage airport. I must have not read carefully enough.
