ALTERED CD

Hi

Have made this Altered CD for my husbands birthday instead of a card. He adores music, but unfortunately he has taken up bird impressions, he never could whistle before, but now he has some new teeth.............he can whistle...........to be honest it gets on my nerves and have threatened to buy him some bird seed for his breakfast if he doesn't stop soon. Thats the trouble when you are married to an OAP they go doolally............where of course I'm totally normal.......... so thats the story of my altered CD..........serves him right.............lol

I have kept it plain on the front and on the back. The back is just a black circle in the middle to make it look a bit like an old record with Happy Birthday on it.

I am entering this for the Alter in Monthly Challenge
A prize of a 20.00 pound voucher is being given by The Altered Element, how brilliant is that. Their website is www.alteredelement.co.uk so pop over and visit their store.

Thanks for popping by and have a great weekend, lets hope the weather is nice. Take care, Annette x

You'd probably alter your husband if he stood still and stopped whistling for long enough, lol.
Totally cool project!

Gorgeous creation, and love the story!

My Guy chomps on ice ... so, we sometimes have a bit too much to drink because I'm busy keeping his glass full enough that he won't crunch, crunch, crunch the *bleep* ice!

Very clever! Love the CD and the story! I am married to an "OAP" too, only we don't use that term here (I had to look it up, lol). And I totally agree they are "doolally" (I got the meaning of this one, but looked it up just to be sure! lol) and we are normal!

Hi Nettie, haven't been on here for a while and look what I am missing. You have been very busy. Love thi cd and I'm sure Martin will. Be careful what you say on the net.....or Martin will be telling everyone that you come from a long line of Lithuanian trapeze artists! love Hells xx

LOL! Great post Netty. I love your altered CD what a fabulous piece of art. They OAP do get on your nerves after 24/7 don't they? Too bad they can't get interested in Housework.

Oh I can SO sympathize with the whistling. I don't know if they do it to be a PIA or if they honestly don't know better. Either way your creation is sublime and I hope he appreciates it. There is nothing like a good story to go with each creation. Kudos to you!

Have a sunny day!~
