Wednesday is Art Class - Splodgings

Hi, as you know or don't know, I go to an Art Class on Wednesday mornings, its mainly sketching and using watercolours.

Last Wednesday our tutor asked me to show and work with the class today on Acrylic backgrounds. What!! I said Oh No, but she persisted, she's like that....bossy.....lol and to make it worse she wouldn't be there as she is away for a week.

E'eek I thought what if they hate it, as the students take their work really seriously........ Well suprise suprise they really loved it and after the shock of my Lets Do It and See What Happens attitude they really relaxed and had fun and so did I.

Just a couple of samples of Acrylic Splodgings so you can see what I am on about, as couldn't show them all as there was loads and loads.
Ooops sorry, forgot to tell you how it was done... put little spots of acrylic dotted about on a plastic sheet/cling film, or craft sheet then spray water on with a mister, then either lay the photo card face down and press or drag it, (or even both ways) depends on how you want it to look. As they say its Easy Peasey.............

Thank you for popping by, take care, Annette x

This is one of those times when the words we use to express our admiration for someones art work have become inadequate to express the excitement of seeing these. Just love the results and feel a messy session coming on over the week-end. xx Zoe
