CofC 22 - Alcohol Ink Spatter

Hi,
Challenge 22 already.......time does fly when you are having fun and it thanks to dear Linda of Studio L3 who is taking us all on an adventure. This time its page 52 of the Compendium of Curiosities.

Made mine into an Easel card for a change.....and am quite pleased how its turned out. Using a straw with the technique caused a lot of laughter as my husband thought I was ill when he heard all the huffing and puffing.......stupid man..........lol

My wonderful prize arrived from Linda yesterday and I cannot thank her enough, as have great plans for the Configurations.

I shall not be around for a couple of days as am going to visit my Uncle and Auntie in Swindon, unfortunately he has cancer and is a bad way poor man, so its going to be heartbreaking as some of you will know who have been through the same thing with a dear friend or relative. But on a brighter note I will be back on Saturday and be able to catch up with all your wonderful work.

There is already some wonderful examples of Ink Spatter at Lindas' Studio L3 Blog so if you get the time its well worth a visit. Take care, hugs Annette x

Hey, Netty, this is GORGEOUS! You must have some incredible lung capacity to have created such bold, beautiful patterns the way you did! The colors are stunning, too, and I love the raven gazing up at the butterfly. What a sweet, happy easel card!

I'm so sorry about your Uncle! What a sad thing to go through, for all of you, but I know that seeing your sweet smile will brighten his day. Have a safe trip, and I'l look forward to catching up with you when you get home. :-)

Your colors fairly launch out from the white bits! Beautiful!

And the embellishments, especially the 3D butterfly! YOWZA!

Hi Annette - it's lovely to see all the fabulous things you have been making and this is one is gorgeous.
I am sorry I haven't been over to see you - but I am still alive, just. I have had the girls today so must catch up with paperwork tomorrow, and I am determined to still keep the creating and making going. Work continues to take all of my other time and will for another week or so. I will be back to commenting more regularly soon. Thankyou for staying in touch with me.
Take care.

Your easel card with the great splashes of color is fantastic, Netty. I've tried that but haven't gotten such big splashes. Maybe your lungs hold more air than mine.
