Single Layer Cards - Once In A Blue Moon - Ginspiration

Hi, as you all know my biggest dread in all the world is making cards, but was inspired to have a go at these Single Layer ones, because for me matting and layering a card has me pulling my hair out in despair, am so rubbish at that. Gingersnappers - Once in a Blue Moon - Ginspiration is running a challenge which also includes this type of card, so thought yep will have a go at this....

I used a 8inch x 3inch ready cut and folded card (cheating......lol) and stamped the top half and cut off the bottom bit and used that for a small thank you card.........easy peasy........ result 2 cards made; terrific and all the worrying went away about making a card. Now why didn't I think of this sooner.........plus no colouring as wanted to keep it monochrome. Used Archival Coffee Ink and Art Journey Stamps, the greeting was See-D's. Both made in under 10 minutes.
Mmmmm just got to make the envelopes now..........maybe it wasn't such a great idea........lol

Thank you for popping in...........Take care and have a great weekend, Annette x

These are fabulous. As much as matting terrifies me (okay if edges are torn or distressed) single layer also terrifies me. You always rise to the occasion. Maybe I need to give this a go. Wishes. Lynne M
