CofC 30 - Altered Metal with Paint

Hi, this week dear Linda of Studio L3 had us turning to page 48 of the Compendium of Curiosities which turned out to be Altered Metal with Paint.

The piece I chose to alter was a bit of a minefield to do as it has so many nooks and crannies, plus just couldn't make up my mind which colour to choose, sigh sigh.........lol It has had 4 different colours on it until I decided on this last one........... The pendant was bought from the Junk Market for 10p, it was originally a very shiny silver colour. Am leaving it as it is for the moment until I can find the right ribbon/material to thread through it to turn it into a necklace as it is way too big to go on a card. In case you are wondering about the background, its one of my acrylic paintings, well splodgings actually........thats a technical term for a mess...................

Thank you for all your congratulations on the birth of my first Great Grandson, Lewis. I have 10 grandchildren altogether. My ever growing family are determined to keep us poor........but rich in so many other ways, so am counting my blessings and hiding my purse.....................lol

Thank you for popping in and seeing me plus all your great support. Have a lovely evening and will catch up with you all later. Take care, Annette x

That is gorgeous, Netty. I can never find things like this - I obviously go to the wrong sort of places or live in the wrong place, lol.
Have a great day.

It is a really lovely pendant, Netty...it looks multi-coloured and is much improved, I guess over its original colour.

Will you wear it, do you think?
I would if it were mine.

I agree with Tracy that it would make a nice brooch too.
Have a lovely evening

Amazing bit of metal you have there. I love the color you chose to leave it. You could use it for so many things. I have been thinking about your new status as great grandma. You will need to take a picture of all of the generations. Such an exciting time. But must be a bit tricky and expensive to keep track of ten.Hugs..Donna

Netty, this is wonderful!!! You did a gorgeous job of altering Lakshmi (at least, I think it's Lakshmi!). That's the best use of 10p I've ever seen, darling!

I'd love the see the background painting, too. :-)
