SIMON SAYS SHOW US SOME LOVE

Hi again, just wanted to post this before I forgot about it. My journal pages for Simon Says Stamp and Show us Some Love.......... the love tickets are a free download which I found on Bella Creations by the very kind Miss Cutie Pie. Thank you heaps. Had such a lovely inky messy time with this.
Also have just finished reading 'Sepulchre' by Kate Mosse a terrific book. It really inspired me to do a couple of journal pages but its in the early stages at the moment.........yep am stuck.....lol The problem is its mainly been done in whites, creams and mushroom shades and I want to introduce a little colour but not sure which...............big problobes.........
Off to Art Class tomorrow, hopefully the tutor will advise me, thats if she gets over the shock of seeing my child ballerina in watercolour. For some reason the child's face looks far from pleased with her dancing.........oooh she does look fed up. Have a great Wednesday and take care, Annette x

This is beautiful Nettie. You don't need advice from an art teacher, just have a little break from creating, get that hoover out and flit round with the duster then go back to it and you'll be flowing with creativity in no time, it always works for me!
I've just been catching up with your blog, Congrats on becoming a Granny/Nanny/Grandma/Nanna :)

Super job on this, Annette! I think it's wonderful that you have started an art journal, art that you can make purely for yourself. The cupid stamp is terrific and I really love the tickets, will have to check them out for myself! Thanks so much for sharing your LOVE art with us this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show!

I like your journal pages, they are bright and colourful and cheering.
Good luck with the art class. Where is the ballerina?? Is she on the journal page or on another posting. Maybe she is not displeased as you say, but concentrating on her dancing steps.
