At Last Its Finished........

Hi, earlier in the week I mentioned I was using 50 pound note napkins as a backing for my multi-media piece, unfortunately you cannot really see them in the photograph....sob sob.

This started out life as a huge box which was filled with pink roses so generously sent to me by my brother and his wife. The roses are dead now.......but the box remains, so have just used a small piece 9x12 inches, so loads left, yipeeeeee. Its the first time I have created anything as large as this, but am quite pleased with the way it turned out, albeit unexpectedly.........lol Hope you like it as would love to do more.

I was hoping to get a piece ready for Paint Party Friday, but time just got away from me. But if you would love to see some fabulous Art just press my side button and you will amazed at the most wonderful paintings.

Hope you are enjoying the sunshine. Have a great weekend and take care, Hugs Annette x

wonderful creation but would love to know more on how you created it...did you draw/paint the girl yourself? Did you use paints or inks...Sorry for all the questions!

Hi Annette - yes just to say The Script are a very popular group. This was Maddie's way of getting to the concert, if she bought us tickets she could go as well. As it happens I do like their music so it is a treat for me too.

It is wonderful, Netty. You have used loads of different techniques and textures. I love it!!!
Working 'big' is something I find difficult. You have really cracked the large scale barrier. Well done!

Thanks for your recent sweet comments.
That smile was just for you.

Wonderful elements and variety! Love it.
Pink Sunset was actually painted on dry watercolor paper. I find that when I try to paint wet on wet, I can't get the depth of color that I like.
Have a great weekend!
