Its been one of those Weeks!!!

Hi, am late posting I know, but am so totally disorganised at the moment and definitely have too many projects on the go.........entirely my own fault as got a bit carried away. But at least I completed 3 cards which I've struggled with.......one is for my 2year old grand-daughter, another (which am not sure about) is a wedding card, heat embossed on copper pearlescent card which I think may be too dark for a wedding and the other is a Mothers Day Card which am also not sure about..........so if you have any advice I would truly welcome it.

Am also trying to paint a horrible toad thingy for my Art Homework, have tried to copy it from the picture my tutor gave me, but mine has ended up looking totally fed up and overfed on a reedy thing which has now bowed under his weight, heaven only knows what she will think of it. The other things I am working on is a large collage using 50 pound notes for the background - no, not real ones.....silly.....table napkin ones and working in my Art Journal in the style of Chagall who is my new top favourite artist. So am definitely suffering from overload........plus my hair looks a total mess........lol

Thank you for popping in and hope you all have a great weekend, take care, Annette x

Oh, who cares about your hair! Your art is magnificent! Love all three, especially the one for your granddaughter. But I do understand overload...umm, I think I invented it! Hang in there!

All three cards are stunning in their own way. The one for your grand-daughter is so sweet, but I LOVE the wedding one. The contrast between card base and embossing is absolutely striking. And, well, who would not want some lacey garments (lol). Cannot wait to see your other artistic ventures and your hair!

Now take a deep breath and relax. You earned it!

Wonderful creations each one, Netty!

I love the card for your granddaughter and especially the wedding card. I don't think it's too dark at all: Many brides prefer deeper colors to the all-white or pastel cards!

your cards are lovely - I really like dressforms at the moment.
Also, its good to have messy hair! it shows that you are creative :)

Thanks for your comments about the Mardi Gras - I think this is a new event in GY. An arts group is organising events to bring the community together. My son, as well as other school children, was invited to help make the decorations so it was a really local affair!
