Asian Fans at Gingersnaps

Hi, at Gingersnaps we were asked to create art which is inspired by Fans. This is my DT offering and you can see some really lovely creations over at Gingersnaps by the rest of the team and guest artists.

I opted to use Joanne Wardle's design in the April edition of Craft Stamper, its called Floating Fronts and it folds down nice and flat for easy postage and great fun to make.

Stamps are by Papermania and Sugar Nellie. The fan has been heat embossed and coloured with Whisper pens. Distress Inks were used to colour the main body of the card and a little stickles on the heart. Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Sorry this post is late, but its been a very busy day and evening for me. My husband had all his top teeth out today.........not a pretty sight............poor man, but as a dutiful wife I have waited on him hand and foot, mashed his food, fed him with painkillers, endless supply of straws plus his body went into shock tonight, but he is now tucked up in bed dreaming the dreams of the good...aaaaah

I am pretty whacked so am heading off to bed. Thank you for popping in and will see you all on Friday. Take care, Hugs Annette x

Netty, this card is absolutely amazing! I love the colors and especially the design!

Hugs to you and your hubby ... dental work of any kind is miserable and pulled teeth are positively horrendous.

Gorgeous girl on gorgeous card Annette. Poor hubby (and you !) my hubby had all his teeth out at once 40 years ago and I can still remember how horrible it was for him, know dental treatment has improved but still a big trauma today.

Gorgeous piece, Netty - love the fold-out! Your poor hubby - give him my best from blogland! (Sounds like a good excuse for lots of mocha chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup and whipped cream.. but that's just me. You could give your hubby some, too!! LOL!)

Hi Annette oh sorry to hear about poor hubby and his teeth ( or lack of them ) hope he is feeling better soon. Super card ( as usual ) and beautiful fan oh I wish I could colour like that.

Weather still rubbish and tomorrow in Greece every family roasts a whole lamb on the spit and other goodies so hoping for at least a dry day ! There got a little moan in thank you.
