Printers Tray 'oops

Hi, Happy Bank Holiday to you, the weather is sunny and we are off to a Steam Fair today.....woo hoo, just love looking for odd bits of rusty bits at these events and to have a nosey in the Craft Tent.........

On Wednesday I went to LB Crafts for a workshop with the lovely Lin to make a Printers Tray, wow what an experience that was.  My first attempts with Beeswax and Utee using a Melt Pot.............to tell you the truth I was rubbish at it........My Beeswax layering was enough to make a Candle with.  Far too much, but Lin saved me from ruining it completely.  Utee and I got on not too badly and was very impressed with the Black Utee, so dramatic, loved that.  I learn't such a lot, mainly by mistakes and now feel a bit more confident in using my Melt Pot (never been out of its box in a year).  There was a bit of touching up here and there to do once I got it home..........before I dare show you it...........lol
Have a great weekend and hope you are having sunny weather.  Take care, hugs Annette x

Love your printers tray and it looks like it was great fun! I always love learning something new and even mishaps are usually worth the effort. If for nothing else, to never try it again. I used beeswax once and did not like it! Hope you had fun at the fair!
