THE WILD WEST COMES TO WELLINGBOROUGH........!!

Hi, over at Gingersnaps we are having a Wild West Theme this month and this week its Cowboys and Cowgirls.  Now you may not believe this but we don't really have a lot of Cowfolks in Wellingborough, so when this theme came up I was really stumped..............  I love the show Oklahoma and all its fab music, love Calamity Jane, but never seen an honest to goodness cowperson in real life.  So looked up some of those famous ladies of the West like Belle Starr, oh boy were they ugly not a Doris Day amongst them.....lol

Anyways enough of my ramblings and lets get on with the show......... My Double Tag has been stamped with Oxford Impressions and a B Line stamp, inked with Distress Inks through Plumbing Mesh and rough garden string added............

This card is made up of a Tim Holtz Diecut and Embossing folders.  The backing folder has been alcohol inked with various colours then smeared with Green Stazon Ink.  The centrepiece is a stamp from Oxford Impressions which has been coloured and crackle glazed, script stamped (B Line) inked and embossed.

You have heard of 'Sitting Bull' well she is 'Sitting Pretty'..............the jokes don't get any better do they.......lol

Would love to see your takes on this challenge.  There are some great pieces over at Gingersnaps and all so very different. So get on your horse and mosey on down.................oops sorry about that but once I start just can't stop..................

Have a great weekend, am off to find something to wear for a Country Fair Wedding this month.  Will catch up with you all later and take care, Hugs Annette x

Glad this popped up Nettie as I saw it on GC the other day and it's gorgeous.
Not many cowgirls or boys down here in Worthing either so I might struggle with this challenge.
Hoping to do some soon as I've missed loads lately.
Have a great rest of weekend.
Hugs,
Fliss xx

Netty I had a good laugh over your Doris Day comments. Love what you've created. Fab textures and colors.
As for your weeding outfit maybe the Queen has something in a soft yellow she could lend you. It would look better on you anyway after drastic altering.
