Hi, I know its late but totally forgot to post my
DT piece for the new
Gingersnaps Challenge which is
At The Mall.........which for us in the UK means going shopping.......... I have to admit am not a great clothes shopper, but have to admit to buying a T shirt the other day with two full length skeletons on much to my husband's dismay as he is a very conservative dresser.........lol
Anyways this is what I created, its a piece of packaging from
Marks and Spencers, mounted on black cardstock and stamped.
Then I found an old
Primark label which has a gauze overlay already with it and thought I would try and stamp on this. I coated the label with Gesso so the stamp wouldn't slip.
The rest of the
DT have created some wonderful examples in various styles so plenty of inspiration.
Altered Pages are generously sponsoring us and providing a great prize. Hope to see you over at
Gingersnaps with your terrific entries. Enjoy your day and thank you for visiting me. Take care, hugs Annette x

Great use of packaging! I am with you, not much for clothes shopping. On the other hand, when it comes to art supplies, I can spend hours shopping! lol

Fun pieces. I've been watching this challenge to see what folks post - not quite sure how to approach this one. You did fabulous! I've got to break the seal on my gesso and figure out what it does. You were very creative with your packaging. Also - thank you for all the nice comments you leave on my blog. I do appreciate them. :-)
