The Gingers are Waxing !!

Hi, this weeks challenge over at Gingersnap Creations is to use wax whichever way you like.  As I still haven't unpacked my Melt Pot, its been a year now.........hanging my head in shame.........I decided to alter a candle.

I went for the really easy option and used Papermania's Candle Transfers, I've had these about a year also.....

I used our sponsors Penny Wise Arts iridescent beads which I popped in a plastic bag and dripped Gold Alcohol ink onto them, gave them a good shake, let them dry and glued them on the candle.

The time it took to turn a plain white candle into what you see was about 15 minutes........told you it was easy peasy.  The other Gingers have created some stunning pieces which are far more elaborate, so if you would love some more inspiration for this great challenge pop over to the Gingersnaps Blog.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.  Wendy and I are taking my Mother for lunch on Saturday, I just hope she wears both her deaf aids this time..........sigh sigh...........because it can be quite disturbing for the other diners..........lol  Take care of yourselves, Hugs Annette x

This is just beautiful nettie. I wouldn't want to burn it so not to ruin it. Look great on a shelf amongst a few other pretties! aren't you glad you got the melt pot out.

You may have used an "easy option" Nettie, but the effect is stunning!!! The red on white is so effective and the beads just finish it off perfectly! Far too beautiful to light though I would say...:o)

Have a great weekend!
