Work in Progress and some Sketches for Paint Party Friday

Hi, its Paint Party Friday again, hosted by Eva and Kristin.  Have very nearly finished Juliet, just a few minor adjustments and then she is complete.............woo hoo.

Acrylics

Have also been practising birds in my Sketchbook which have found quite difficult to do.  They are far from perfect, so its just practise practise practise.

From top left:  Gannet, Eastern Rosella, Eagle Owl and Snowy Owl (just in case you don't recognise them...lol )

Hoping to have my Art Homework complete for next Friday.  Its a huge blooming canvas, full of flowers and its driving me bonkers as it looks terrible at the moment, but always hopeful there will be a breakthrough......if not will just have to start again..............sob sob.

Wishing you a very happy weekend whatever you are doing.  Think mine will be spent drinking quite a lot of wine in the hope that inspiration will strike, that's providing it doesn't send me to sleep...............lol

Am off to the Party soon and to visit all your wonderful creations.  Take care, hugs Annette x

Juliet is beautiful, and your bird sketches are good. They are so hard to do. My Japanese neighbour paints birds with brush and ink, in just a few strokes, I don't know how she does it, I just get a mess! Oh well! Thanks for your good wishes! Valerie

Your lady is amazing Netty, I really enjoyed her last week already but the additional work has made her even better. Love how well you have done her hand particularly, I know from experience how hard hands are! The birds are great too, and remember, practice makes perfect.

Hope your own hands are doing ok,
have a great weekend!

Netty, your Juliet is so gorgeous. Worthy to hang in any museum, my friend. And as for your birds, they far exceed anything I could do. I don't do animals and birds very well. Faye
