' Blooming ' for Paint Party Friday...............

Hi, its time for the PPF party again and am showing you much to my shame my Art Homework which is a load of flowers in bloom.  We were asked to take one of our previous painting's and put it onto a large canvas........it was OK when it was small but to get all these flowers onto a large canvas was completely beyond me.........totally made me dizzy...and am not kidding.......will get the critique from my art teacher on Wednesday.......am not looking forward to that.............

THEN

Yesterday I found out about Pic Monkey which has greatly improved the look of the canvas.........wish I could take this one instead..................

Thank you for all your great support my friends and wish you all a terrific Bank Holiday Weekend.  If it stops raining we are off to some Steam Fairs, so fingers crossed we get a dry spell.  Will be around in between times to visit all the artists at PPF and all your beautiful creations.  Take care, Annette x

Actually, I don't think it has improved it. The original has lovely light in it; the flowers all look very natural, like balls of petals - like they should do! You may be right about the painting not transferring well to a large canvas, but that's not because the painting itself is poor. I should imagine that what you're meant to be learning is something about composition or scale, or something...lol.

I'm no artist Nettie but I prefer the first one as it looks more natural to my eye. You are so adventurous and gifted. Love your work.
Have a great weekend.

Netty, I may get in trouble here, but I really like the original better than the enhanced. Take the one you painted and be proud of it. It resembles the style of several of the impressionist painters. It's beautiful.
