Miss Country Girl turns into.......................!!!!!!

Hi, am so excited as found a new challenge over at The Fairy Yellowbug Queen Blogspot.  The challenge is to draw a flat paper doll that has a large skirt and short story to go with it.

Introducing Heidi the fair Country Girl as you would see her in the daytime spreading Joy and Happiness.

In the evening Heidi shares a different type of Happiness..................as Miss Whiplash............

Heidi is free standing using a wooden drinks stick and popped in an old cotton reel. The body is made from thick paper.   Her dress and hat are made from paper napkins.  A disposable dress is very handy for her line of work..............lol  Had the greatest fun making Heidi, hope you enjoy her as well.

Have a great weekend, am off to see what the other girls have created.  Take care, hugs Annette xx

Great looking doll, Netty. Sounds like a fun challenge. When I get a new (read: faster) computer I might do something like that. Reading long blog stories is hard to do with a slow computer.

As for your painting that was (or was not) critiqued by the instructor of your art class, I'd look further for somewhere that will offer constructive and kind helps. There is no reason to offer only a "hm-m-m" because anyone in that position should be able to offer suggestions. Besides, I thought the painting was pretty.

Annette, your country miss looks like she might be a real lion-tamer at heart. I wonder if she has read the book "Running with the Wolves"? She has a wild side in any event; good for her. I like your construction very much! *smiles* Norma
