Hi, hope you had a Great Bank Holiday, ours lasted longer than the usual 2 days, we have been out and about enjoying ourselves visiting a Steam Rally, Historic Gardens and some Museums then in the evenings have chilled out with a glass of wine watching the TV and catching up on Facebook. Did I play a game or two on Facebook..........yep of course I did............lol
Fashionable Stamping are challenging us to create Anything Floral/Handmade Flowers and as have quite a few family birthdays next month thought I would give it a go. This black card I have die cut the square with a Nestie, then using Tim Holtz Flower die cut made the fabric flower which was originally a fabric napkin from my niece's wedding and sewn a bead in the centre. The stamp is Monique from Scrolls Work minus the witch hat an arm and a broom, yep cut them off.........aaah poor Monique......but sometimes you have just got to be ruthless haven't you........lol Calling this card Sitting Pretty.
The Postcard has been stamped with the Friendship Sheet from ISC. Various Distress Inks, Black Stickles and Gems, Modge Podge and Glossy Accents. The black gems shouldn't really be on it but when I modge podged the face the inks couldn't have dried completely and that side of her face was a bit of a mess, hence the gems. Resulting in an OTT postcard. Oh well these things happen........
I would also like to enter these cards into The House that Stamps Built challenge which is also Flowers.
Am now going to catch up with all your blogs before the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics starts this evening. Have a goodly evening and take care of yourselves, hugs Annette x

Stunning projects Annette,love them both.xxx
Both cards are amazing! Two totally different looks, but equally divine!!
Your improvisions (think that's a word) on both cards show such creativity. Taking the witches hat off left you with a sophisticated looking girl and hiding the smudges with the gems worked too. Of course, no one would ever know unless you told. Gorgeous cards-both.
Two great projects. I adore the colours in the second one!
