Bits and Bobs

Hi, am still feeling horrible with this awful cough and cold and really want to feel a whole lot better so I can go to the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show being held in Kettering this weekend (which is only about 9 miles from me) and its the first time we have ever had one in Northamptonshire, am so looking forward to it..........fingers crossed.............

Anyways amidst the coughs and the sneezes have managed to make a few items and would like to share them with you.

Material Tag

All the stamps are by Crafty Individuals, the top tag has been made from some of my winnings from CI.

Am showing the tins (bought from Happy Daze) so you can see how they are in their original state.  If you enlarge the photos of my altered tin you will be able to see all the little pits.

If you have some acrylic paint and some Alcohol Inks you can achieve this pitted look without any hard work at all.......... if you like the effect  please read on...............first splosh some acrylic paint all over your tin, its better if its not painted on too smooth, once completely dry just use your alcohol ink on your felt dabber and dab away in whatever colour you like.  Once its dry,  polish with a dry cloth................told you it was easy..... (this method was discovered by accident, there is obviously a chemical reaction between the three substances used)

Thank you for popping in, am off to get some soup, cough medicine and anadin - a brilliant combination.......lol    Will probably sleep this afternoon as didn't get much sleep last night.

Take care of yourselves, hugs Annette xx

Love the material tag. I wasn't aware you could buy the little tin boses, I thought you had to eat a lot of Altoids! LOL..The only thing I have found that knocks a cold off of it's feet is something called Zicam. I don't know if you can get it in the UK. The tablet form works great for me and everyone else I know..hope you feel better
