Gift of a Canvas

Hi, Happy Friday to everyone and have just noticed I have some new followers, how brilliant. Welcome and hope you will stick around and enjoy the fun of crafting with me.

8 inches x 8 inches
Made this canvas for my eldest daughter Amanda who apparently loves my art and craftings........well there is no accounting for taste is there.............lol

For any of you who are interested in how it was constucted; first I covered it in Gesso, layered napkin waste and book pages.  Painted in various shades of blue (although you cannot see this in the photo) acrylics.  Applied Moulding Paste over stencil and painted with Gold acrylic.  I drew and painted the girl on heavy duty watercolour paper, using acrylics.  The swirls are diecuts by Tim Holtz and the words are from Creative Expressions, plus flowers and cute buttons.  Think thats it.........................phew

I have new paintings Modiglianai style on my other blog today 'Adventures into Art' so if you would like to visit you are most welcome.

Wishing you all a terrific weekend and take care of yourselves, Hugs Annette x

This is gorgeous and your daughter will treasure it I am sure.

I have been drooling over you wall hangings particularly the last one. I've just popped over to Paper Artsy to see their video on how they decorate theirs.

Love your colourings though - they are so much warmer and rich - perfect for this time of year
