Alcohol Ink Painting, requires just the inks, blending solution and a stick..........so no paintbrush required. How good is that...........lol
Have just heard that the Blogging Reader List will be stopped in July this year, which is a total pain when we rely on this to see what our fellow bloggers have created. So hopefully everyone will have an email following button which will enable us to keep up. I have to admit I rely on Facebook a lot to keep up with various blogs. Does anyone have any better ideas as would love to know.
Take care of yourselves and have a goodly week, hugs Annette x

Stunning colours. I would be tempted to emboss the card. Have a great day.
Beautiful colours Annette.xxx
I love what you've created with the alcohol ink - I think I would emboss the card.
xxx Hazel.
Love your alcohol ink paintings, I would just stamp on them myself! I just use the blogger dashboard, not the reader, so I don't know if that will be affected or not!
These are gorgeous, makes me want to get my inks out! The first one looks great as is, and maybe just a nice sentiment on the other two? I use the reading list in blogger dashboard and as far as I know, nothing's changing ere. Xx
Oh Wow ! Netty they are stunning I thought the first one was rose petals until I read it very clever x
Lovely colours! Great backgrounds. Valerie
Fabulous Netty! Oval ones sentiment only and the bottom one perhaps an embossed background or an embossed line frame?
No change in the reading list for blogger dashboard despite all the angst and worry!!!LOL
They look fantastic and personally I really would not do too much to them. Let the colours speak for themselves and maybe just add a sentiment?
Oh no, I love the reader list. It is the first thing I check when I sign on in the morning. I will miss it. Netty these colors really caught my eye. I will have to try it. I bought some inks to do dominoes and have yet to open them. You have inspired me to have an ink "play day".
Look so cool! They'd look great left plain to show of the inks or, alternatively, they'd make the centrepiece for a really OTT card.
Beautiful colours Annette, I have just got some inks but don't know when I will have time to have a play.
Kevin xx
Beautiful colours Annette, so vibrant.
My understanding is that Google Reader goes but Blogger Reader stays.
x0x
Don't you dare put anything on the first one - gorgeous as is. I really feel the same about the second one - maybe if you had a neat saying of wisdom - and the third would be the only one I would put a stamped image on. My eye says it needs a little framing - now listen to me --- LOL!!! As if I should be giving YOU advice - Oh goodness do I have gall or what! I love the first one best of all - gorgeous colors.
Sandy
Love the colours. I've been wanting to try inks for ages. Just waiting for my next trip to the Uk to get supplies... Postage is a pain. Thanks for the tip on Blogger. I didn't know that. Wonder how I'm going to keep up with everyone...? :(
Love playing with alcohol inks! These are wonderful colors, Netty! Hugs!
Love what you did with your alcohol inks Annette, especially the first one, I would leave it as it is. I really don't use mine enough - hope they won't dry up!
I've put an email button on my blog and from reading the comments above it sounds as though we'll still be able to keep track with the Blogger reader on the dashboard - I do hope so as that's how I follow blogs now :)
ohhh these look fab!! Wonderful colors and love the effect.
These are beautiful! I would probably emboss them as not to detract in any way from their beauty. ~Diane
thank you for taking the time to comment and for the great advice. Hugs Annette x
They're so beautiful I'd hate to see you cover them up. But I know whatever you do, they'll be wonderful.
Very beautiful colors and your creations are wonderful. I love working with Alcohol Ink too
Gorgeous Netty really arty and beautiful x
I'd vote for embossing....those colours stand alone.
don't they look fab Nettie. I think I would leave the top one alone as it has so much colour but perhaps emboss the other two.
I kind of think I would leave them as they are... they are stunning... those colours are so perfect ...xx
Not much is more beautiful than a random design done in alcohol inks. These are simply gorgeous. I especially like the top one. I'd just use an oval cutout card, add a sentiment on the card itself, not the ink, and maybe a flower at the lower left side of the oval.
I didn't realize that Blogger Reader is disappearing. Wonder why they keep diddling with things that are working fine.

Hi Annette. Love your AI backgrounds. I think some die cut florals, sentiments would be great on the first two
The third is quite scenic so no problem there for you

Ps what would you recommend regarding heavy paper for journalling ?
lovely backgrounds Annette
hugs
Wow stunning - love the vibrant colorus and patterns!
As far as your egg paintings..why don't you try both methods..embossing and stamping? You've got a good start with those soft colors.
I hadn't heard about blogger cancelling the side bar of our bloggers pictures to their blogs. I am disappointed. This will take some thought as to how to find everyone. I rely on those pictures don't you? Also, not everyone is on my facebook and what about new ones you want to follow?
Looks like you had fun Nettie!! Wonderful vibrant spring colours xxx
Sounds like a winner Netty. Alcohol ink. Never tried that but now I have too. I used the reading list in Blogger Dashboard. I haven't heard anything about them taking it down. Nice work Netty.
These look fab Netty and would fit well in our challenge at Artful Times, alway tricky to know what to add when you create such wonderful background maybe just a sentiment :)

Hello my friend. Your inks look so cool. I love the effect they give.
I have heard a couple of blogger are switching to feedly. They have an easy transition I am told. Here is the link.

Awesome, just love that technique, very inspiring!
so stunning netty.i love the effect with the inks :D
xx coops xx
These are beautiful Netty. I 'specially like the top one. it looks as if it's been painted on silk! xx
Totally totally beautiful! Fabulous technique and the matting makes it look like Easter! Love the colors! And, I rely on my email for blog posts or else I'd never know or pay attention.
These are fabulous backgrounds Netty! I'd try some embossing with white..that might pop off the page!
I know, sad about Reader, I rely on it too..you're correct about the email button!
I love playing with alcohol inks too. I like to leave mine just as they are and call them abstract art. Their beauty is too cool to cover up with something else...my humble opinion. :-)
As for blogger, I also heard the "friend connect" is going away so you won't have followers anymore. The only thing to do is sign up to receive email posts from those you follow/ :-(
Hugs ♥ ~Rhonda
...the alcohol inks are so vibrant and command pole position, but in my opinion, depending on your style and shape of card, plain embossing would work a treat as would letting the inks take all glory too, have a play and see what happens...totally love the first card Annette...Melxx :)
Thank you for dropping by me & your lovely words :)
totally love this- we were just making alocohol inked dominos last nite at my art group ! I love them
stunning effect love the colours and look beautiful as they are not sure what else is best to do

I's with you..I actually LOVE when people have the Follow by Email option on their blog..it is so convenient! My reader doesn't even work half the time..ha ha!So i love email !
Wishing you a beautiful day sweet faraway friend!!
Hi Netty
You can get wonderful effects with alcohol ink, I have also been playing recently. I love what you have made here!
xxx
Beautiful colors. on the READERS LIST its not the dashboard list that is going but if you go up to the right hand corner to the wheel and click on the Readers list its a different thing. I never used it. I panicked too at first.
Gorgeous Netty, these are very striking. I think stamping or embossing would work but I also think they work as is. Gorgeous. Tracy x
Great results with the alcohol inks Nettie! I pinned the first on Pinterest.
Also thanks for your kind comment on my blog!
Have a nice weekend, Alie :-)
These are stunning Annette. I like the plain cardstock. Nicola x
Hi Annette, Wonderful inky colours, can't wait to see how you proceed:0) I read on Blogger that if you use your dashboard to follow and read blogs that that will remain the same, I could be wrong but that's how I read it, hugs Gay x
These look fabulous to me Netty just as they are. I use Google reader to and didn't realise it was going :-( xx
Marvelous colorful images, love them all.
These are lovely! What gorgeous colours!
I am changing over to Bloglovin and so far am lovin it. ;)
These are gorgeous! Love the top one, it makes me think of tulips!
Lucy x
Great colors!
I think a lot of people are looking into Feedly as a Google Reader alternative.
From now on I use bloglovin for following blogs. Highly recommended! And these alcohol paintings are stunning!!!
W O W! Those are soooooooo gorgeous. I would not do anything else to them. I seriously want to try this out. Absolutely beautiful . . . sumptuous colors and shapes and movement.
