Is it her Destiny to spend her Life in a Pot?

Hi, had some time on my hands and wanted to make another Hanging as haven't made one for a while......

Did the usual and covered it in Gesso first.  I bought some tester pots from B&Q who were selling them off....2 for 50p..........we love a bargain and painted it over with these.  Stencil applied with Modelling Paste then sanded over, Distress inks were used for the colourings.  The Swirls are Rub Ons and added some copper dragonflies. Finished off with a couple of coats of Modge Podge to protect it.
The Hanging and Stamp are from Paper Artsy.

My youngest daughter, Wendy, has just come back from her holiday in Bodrum, Turkey............looks like she enjoyed herself....ooooh I love that girl........

Thank you for dropping in, take care of yourselves, hugs Annette xx

Looks very medieval, which I love. Aren't tester pots great? I have a few myself.

What an adorably beautiful hanging, Netty. It's always fun to repurpose stuff, isn't it? I know you are having fun with daughter and vicariously visiting Turkey as she relates her adventures.

Too many things to comment on here Annette. First - I guess I would rather be in a pot than constantly on one! Hey I see that Valerie's mind and mine run down a similar road!! Great artsy fartsy wall hanging. Your daughter looks like she would be so much fun to be with! Hey - I'll drink to that!!
