Posting a day of Disasters

Yep definitely disasters, it started when I tried to follow the sketch at Rogue Redheads this month........am definitely a Sketch Dyslexic, but Sharon Bliss assured me she wasn't one to curtail creativity...........(methinks this statement was very tongue in cheek.....lol )

I think one of  the beautiful birds is saying to the other...... "do you think we are going to fall off this branch" ?
The other one replies "...........nah......just hold on tight!!!! "
Stamp from the new Rogue Redhead Designs This N That plate

Then I altered a previous 4 x 6 watercolour into a postcard to enter into the Unrulys Challenge then properly read the challenge where they are asking for Edgy and Artful Masterpieces...........and this is definitely NOT a masterpiece.............lol

Stamps by Joanna Sheen

Yep another disaster............cannot link this to the Unrulys Challenge.........not to worry!
PS.  Methinks I have just done it, fingers crossed

Am also entering this postcard into the Word Art Wednesday Challenge........... (so thats good)

On top of all this I made a Paperbag Tree as shown on Pininterest, but cannot photograph it as it keeps falling over........oh well will try again............

Am also over at Paint Party Friday today and if you would like to see my offerings go HERE

Some you win and some you lose a'int that a fact, but we all keep trying and as long as we can laugh at ourselves and not take it too seriously then it really doesn't matter............

Thank you for dropping in on this hot summers day.  Take care of yourselves and will see you soon, hugs Annette x

By popular request of 2 bloggers............lol  am showing the awful and I mean awful Paperbag Tree

Hey Netty, don't do yourself down, I happen to love both of your makes here, and thanks for the laugh about the bird's conversation, though I actually think they are placed perfectly. Shame you couldn't photograph the bag, never heard of them and am now feeling curious... Have a lovely day!

Hi Netty,

funny how we all view things differently Netty - I just love your paperbag tree - it's really quirky and such an interesting shape (and that's not a sarcastic comment!) the birds look just fine to me - I thought you'd meant to place them like that, and your second card, well who cares, it's just plain cute!

personally I love your creations although I'm a bit perplexed by the paperbag tree. I must find that on Pinterest. Anyway, I think your seaside postcard is beautiful! Certainly it's edgy since they are standing at the edge of the water :)
I got a real chuckle out of the birds' conversation. Right now my stamping counter is full of oopsies which I must clean up tomorrow.

This has such a lovely vintage feel to it and I personally think you did a great job with it. They always say that "we are our own worst critic" and I know that others see the beauty in your art and are blessed by it, so you just keep on creating the art God lays on your heart to create. He has obviously given you MUCH talent and I'm SO grateful that you are sharing that talent with us by playing along in our challenge. I look forward to seeing more of your lovely art, and hope that you're having a great week.
Blessings to you!

We do tend to be our own worse critics. :) Love the birds, hold on tight my dear. Tehe.. The painted one is fab and should be linked to UPA RAQ2 as it definitely fits that challenge. Hugs

Your postcard is a masterpiece dear Netty! Your little love birds must have gotten a bit spunky to make them fall, and your tree is lovely. We all have days where everything we touch goes wrong in our minds so I know how you feel. On to better days! ~Diane

Hmm... I definitely think "disasters" is overstating it by some way, Annette!! The birds are very sweet in their elegant b&w setting, and the seaside scene is delightful.

And I'm so glad you posted the picture of the paperbag tree in the end - it's a wonderful make... just prop it up with something!!
