Victorian Ghost Story Hanger

Hi am back with a large hanger this time.  The idea was based on a Victorian Ghost Story about little Becky who lost her mother very early in her life.  Her father remarried again but the new wife disliked Becky who was the apple of her father's eye.

Little Becky went to her mother's grave every day to pour her heart out.  One day her mother appeared to her and wiped Becky's tears away and said I am always here if you need me..............  Becky is an adult now with children of her own and her mother is only a thought away, always ready to give comfort.

Stamps used:  Joanna Sheen, Sam Poole, Lavinia Stamps and Scrolls Work.   Other products used:  Gesso, Stencil, Modelling Paste, Distress Inks, Viva Transparent Crackling, Sepia Accents, Die cuts,  punched Flowers and Pearls.

This is my second entry for the Craft Room Challenge - Vintage Stamping and am thrilled to announce I won their last challenge - Yellow and Blue makes Green...........woo hoo (proudly showing the badge on my sidebar) yep am showing off.............lol

The Summer of Color finishes this week and have collaged all the 6 weeks colors into a collage which can be found on my Art Blog today, if you would like to go see press HERE

Thank you for taking the time to visit me, take care of yourselves, hugs Annette x

PS Have just received my prize this afternoon, how fab is this and the lovely card was from Zoe, thank you so much

Love this Netty! You have captured the story in one single piece of art. The saying is so true, how much energy do we waste thinking about things we can't change. xxoo
