Craft Room Challenge - Picture Inspiration

Hi, the new Craft Room Challenge  have given us a mixed media design to interpret.

I revamped a piece made a couple of years ago which was never really happy with.  Hopefully it works a lot better now and will fit into the challenge OK.  Although there is a certain Gremlin on my workspace who keeps changing things when I'm not looking...........little monkey........

Using a Cereal box piece to work with.  Gesso, stencils, acrylics, various stamps, crackle paint and diecuts which have been gifted to me over time.

Am knee deep in sketches at the moment - all for the rubbish bin, but hopefully by February will be ready for the 29 Faces as missed it last year.........and boy do I need the practice and the proverbial kick up the you know where to actually make something.

Wishing you a Very Happy Christmas

Wow it is certainly a busy time for us all.  With having 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, not to mention 6 children and the rest of my family; am feeling a bit worn out.  But the cards are done, decorations up and nearly finished the wrapping.  Its been a hectic time with trips to the hospital and the doctors......not to mention the chemist...........aaaah to be young again............ We were both saying the other day, gone are the days when we threw a few clothes in a suitcase and jumped on a plane............now we need a case just for the pills and potions............Our combined ages make 140 years, so its nothing unusual to find us fast asleep on the settee after we have had our lunch............lol

This double page spread is from my A3 journal.   I started it in February this year and have only just got around to finishing it. There are many layers as just couldn't see where it was going to go, but am happy with it now and can close the book..........

SIMON SAYS SHOW US SOME LOVE

Hi again, just wanted to post this before I forgot about it. My journal pages for Simon Says Stamp and Show us Some Love.......... the love tickets are a free download which I found on Bella Creations by the very kind Miss Cutie Pie. Thank you heaps. Had such a lovely inky messy time with this.
Also have just finished reading 'Sepulchre' by Kate Mosse a terrific book. It really inspired me to do a couple of journal pages but its in the early stages at the moment.........yep am stuck.....lol The problem is its mainly been done in whites, creams and mushroom shades and I want to introduce a little colour but not sure which...............big problobes.........
Off to Art Class tomorrow, hopefully the tutor will advise me, thats if she gets over the shock of seeing my child ballerina in watercolour. For some reason the child's face looks far from pleased with her dancing.........oooh she does look fed up. Have a great Wednesday and take care, Annette x
