Hi, its one heck of a long time since I entered the Simon Says challenge, but I had this idea in mind for a tag and wanted to go for it..........as you do.............lol
Products used: Papermania cardstock (Chatsworth Vintage Selection), Distress Inks, Stamps by Lost Coast Designs and Hero Arts. Laces and Silk Flowers from stash, Stickles and a Martha Stewart Lace Punch.
The idea was to create a 3d Vintage effect with the layering, pleating and opening shutters. I rather like how this has turned out. Hope you do as well.
Would also like to add this to the new 'Artful Times' Challenge blog where they are asking for a Tag and another new Challenge blog 'Frilly and Funky' where they want to see Vintage........wow have never done 3 challenges in one before...............neat....
Wishing you a lovely weekend and take care of yourselves. Hugs Annette x

Show us the Colour of Your Money - The Shoe Queen !
Hi, Gingersnaps Challenge - Colour of Money was a challenge I definitely wanted to do, but with a little twist....
I used a Bank Note Serviette as the main image and pasted it onto scrap white card and mounted it on recycled packaging (Quaker Oats) after I had distressed it with distress inks. Stamped a Queen's head by B Line Designs and added some rub-ons. First time I've used rub-ons and these were very old ones and took one heck of a lot rubbing..........then faux stitching around the outside and cream raffia . I am quite pleased with the results as its a bit different and was fun to make.
I would also like to enter this tag/bookmark into Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge which is Show a Word !
Am off to lunch with one of my daughter's today which will be great as we love a good natter. Take care and thank you for popping in. Hugs Annette x

Its a Tag...........!!
Hi, not a very original title is it.............lol, but thats what it is.
Made originally for the Crafty Individuals Challenge - 'Vintage with a Heart'. Am I the only person on the planet who cannot get their head around the word Vintage........Vintage Wine and Vintage Clothes I understand, but what about the rest........guess am totally dumb........lol
Copied Jean's (CI) strut design which I thought was a brilliant way of showing a tag and it also can double up as a card..........so cool don't you think......
Stamps used: Crafty Individuals and Darkroom Door. Other products used: White and Clear Embossing Powder, Paint Dabber, Crackle Glaze and Distress Ink. The rest is from my stash, including the vintage lace (its not really vintage lace just had it a long time).
Simon Says Stamp and Show also want to see a Tag. So two for the price of one, can't be bad can it.....!
http://simonsaystampandshow.blogspot.com/ Both these challenge sites are well worth a visit, the DTeams on both have done some fabulous work and so are all the entries.
Thank you for popping in and hope you have a very Happy Sunday. Will be visiting you all very soon and thank you for all the wonderful comments you leave me. Hugs Annette x

CINDERELLA AT 5MINS PAST TWELVE!!!

Hi, this huge tag was the greatest fun to make for Simon Says Stamp - Show us some Stars and Drunken Stampers - Fairytale Twist, both brilliant blogs.
The background has been done using the Wallpaper Paste Technique, the Stamps are by BLine Designs plus loads and loads of Stickles............... the arms are moveable and it was great fun deciding on her pose.......... So this is Cinderella at 5 past 12 hitching a lift home from the ball.....
Hope you have a lovely Sunday, Martin (my husband) is at this moment making his first Soda Bread and then we are off to Billing Village to the Garden Centre, so a fun packed day........lol
Will be back later to see all your terrific creations, take care, Annette x

SIMON SAYS SHOW US SOME LOVE

Also have just finished reading 'Sepulchre' by Kate Mosse a terrific book. It really inspired me to do a couple of journal pages but its in the early stages at the moment.........yep am stuck.....lol The problem is its mainly been done in whites, creams and mushroom shades and I want to introduce a little colour but not sure which...............big problobes.........
Off to Art Class tomorrow, hopefully the tutor will advise me, thats if she gets over the shock of seeing my child ballerina in watercolour. For some reason the child's face looks far from pleased with her dancing.........oooh she does look fed up. Have a great Wednesday and take care, Annette x
