The Royal Pets......

Hi, just in case I forget to say we are changing over our Broadband supplier today so hopefully we won't be off the air for too long.

Today am having a bit of fun with this Postcard.

The background is created using Distress Inks and flicking sea salt all over it, I love this technique.
A mish mash of stamps used:  B Line, Paper Artsy and TJ Designs.

Am entering this into Craft Room and  Craft Stamper Challenges.

Dad, Mum and baby Evaine are home now and doing well.

Thank you for visiting me and hope you have a lovely day.  Still waiting for the hub to arrive, hope they haven't forgotten me...........Take care of yourselves, hugs Annette x

The Fashionettes are Blooming.......

Hi, hope you had a Great Bank Holiday, ours lasted longer than the usual 2 days, we have been out and about enjoying ourselves visiting a Steam Rally, Historic Gardens and some Museums then in the evenings have chilled out with a glass of wine watching the TV and catching up on Facebook.  Did I play a game or two on Facebook..........yep of course I did............lol

Fashionable Stamping are challenging us to create  Anything Floral/Handmade Flowers and as have quite a few family birthdays next month thought I would give it a go.  This black card I have die cut the square with a Nestie, then using Tim Holtz Flower die cut made the fabric flower which was originally a fabric napkin from my niece's wedding and sewn a bead in the centre.   The stamp is Monique from Scrolls Work minus the witch hat an arm and a broom, yep cut them off.........aaah poor Monique......but sometimes you have just got to be ruthless haven't you........lol  Calling this card Sitting Pretty.

The Postcard has been stamped with the Friendship Sheet from ISC.  Various Distress Inks, Black Stickles and Gems, Modge Podge and Glossy Accents.  The black gems shouldn't really be on it but when I modge podged the face the inks couldn't have dried completely and that side of her face was a bit of a mess, hence the gems.  Resulting in an OTT postcard. Oh well these things happen........

I would also like to enter these cards into The House that Stamps Built challenge which is also Flowers.

Am now going to catch up with all your blogs before the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics starts this evening.  Have a goodly evening and take care of yourselves, hugs Annette x

'Wish You Were Here' plus an Update on Stick and Stickette

Miriam and Hannah went to the Seaside, they had such fun climbing over everything in sight, including these beach huts.  Luckily the owners were not about otherwise they would have been in big trouble.

This postcard is being sent to their best friend Louise saying ' Wish You Were Here '

Products usedAnilinky Vodove Barvy Watercolours, Postcard.   Stamps by Scrolls Work and Crafty Individuals.  The beach huts are paper pieced.

Since last Sunday I have had a few emails asking if Stick and Stickette got Married......well they did on Thursday

Unfortunately the video doesn't work properly since Stick's brother Stuck messed it up.

They didn't invite me to the Wedding (which I have to say quite miffed me off)  they wanted a photograph of themselves outside their new home.

Stick wanted to carry Stickette over the threshold, then realised he had'nt any arms.  Yep I could have drawn him some, but then remembered he had left me off the Guest List..........mmmmmmmm Revenge is Sweet.............lol

'' Sorry have not been around but its been a heavy week with hospital appointments for us both but will catch up as soon as I can.  Plus Mum is in hospital again.........it never rains but it pours doesn't it.....''

Looking forward to seeing your creations for the Happy Daze challenge this month.
Take care, hugs Annette x
