These are my first attempts at Wallpaper paste painting, the next step is to rubber stamp then. They make lovely backgrounds so will be doing a few more of these. Hope you like them.
These are beautiful, Annette. Can't wait to see what you make with them! I saw an article on paste painting in Somerset Studio mag several years ago, and thought I would try it, but I never got round to it. Maybe I will now, after seeing your gorgeous results!
I love the colours and textures did you colour the paste first or just spread it and paint after? what colour did you use? distress inks? alcohol inks? acrylic paints?
