Gingersnap - GC71 - Inchies

Hi,

This started off as one of the grandchildrens alphabet wooden bricks which I begged, no scrap that, which they kindly offered to me...........yea that sounds better......... I covered it in texture paint then added scraps of embossed mirror card (which I swiped with Stazon) alcohol inked 5 bottletops, then stamped the girls on 4 of them and popped them through an inch circular punch. The stamps you will probably recognise from Crafty Individuals; then added a little glitter to some of them. The fifth one was stuck on top with a punched flower and a rose which I also glittered.
When I showed the brick to the generous grandchild he was a bit dismayed as he had expected to see lions and tigers Not Girls...........so I now have another one to do..........and you can guess what has to go on it...........lol

The idea was taken from a back copy of Craft Stamper, (except the crafter had bought a wooden cube).........cannot remember which month, but thought it was a good idea.

Hope you like it. Have a happy weekend and thank you for popping by and for your terrific support. Take care, Annette x

Netty this is brilliant... I have a ton of bottle caps, I bought at a yard sale, and have never done a thing with them. You have inspired me to bust them out this weekend and make something with this. Now you better get to work on your lions and tigers theme... I can't wait to be a grandma....:)

Netty, what a really nifty idea! Your block turned out wonderful. Yes, I would think tigers, elephants, and such would appeal more to your grandson.
