GC74 - VERSAMARK

Hi,

The piece I made for Gingersnap Creations this week is a Large Postcard (Carte Postale). The papers I used were RLB. The stamps are Paper Artsy, Basic Grey, TJ Designs and a freebie from Craft Stamper.

Not being that well acquainted or practised with the versatilities of Versamark mine is very basic; the crowns at the top of the postcard are clear embossed and Queen is embossed in white embossing powder. Other products used are micro beads, pearl pins, crackle glaze, distress inks, Inka Gold and my pet spiders...........which have just noticed one spider has started already to spin a web.........hmmm ... a crafting spider....thats all I need.......lol

To see some really great ideas of using Versamark just pop over to Gingersnaps there are some fab pieces.

Despite my shortcomings of experience I hope you enjoy my Postcard ' A Cat can Look at a Queen'...............have a happy day and take care. Annette x

lovely piece. I hope you enjoy being a GS visiting artist. Thanks for your comment. I find the trick to watermarking is just choosing the right shade of card to work on. it must be pale, but not too pale, for some reason I find blue works well

Hi Annette - following on from our messages. I lived in St Ives and Hemingford Grey near Huntingdon when I was young, that was my connection to the River Ouse. Bedford isn't that far away - small world sometimes isn't it. B xxxxx
