My Blogging Friends

At Last I completed some Works in Progress for Paint Party Friday.....Woo Hoo

Hi, am feeling so pleased with myself as have completed 2 of my Works in Progress.....woo hoo.  Am sure I could do more to them but am leaving well alone at the moment in case I ruin them.........

This is the Lady asleep in the Deckchair (my Art Class Homework) in Acrylics.  Nowhere near perfect but feel am making progress at long last.

This is the multimedia Canvas which was great fun to complete and have learn't a lot from my mistakes.  Am entering this canvas for the Alter it Monthly Challenge - Canvas (http://alteritmonthly.blogspot.com/)  another wonderful blog whose Design Team do some fabulous altered art, well worth a visit.

This is this weeks Art Class Homework - Work in Progress -  in Watercolours, quite a lot to do on this one and am struggling a bit.  You can enlarge all of these pictures and I promise I won't look..........lol

Thank you so much to the talented ladies who run Paint Party Friday and to the lovely talented artists who contribute and continue to inspire me.  If you love to paint, this is definitely the Party for you.
Thank you as well to my dear blogging friends who continue to support me through my learning process and give me great encouragement.  Have a brilliant weekend, take care and hope the sun keeps shining.
Hugs Annette x

I'm intrigued to know what you've taken the watercolor to get the blanket of the women who walk. Un abrazo

I am sorry I don't understand your question La Abela. If another artist understands what this dear lady means, would you explain it to me please. Annette x

I always look forward to coming here on Friday to see how your paintings have progressed. I am delighted to see the finished product of the lady in the lawn chair. You are right. I know I mess up when I continue adding stuff past the point I should have stopped. This is the perfect place to stop. Beautiful. Also, I love the watercolor you've started and will be watching to see its progress also.

Netty, these are all beautiful but my favorite is the woman sleeping. I think watching someone sleep is almost taboo, it's such an intimate vulnerable moment. I love it!

Hi Netty! I really like the first and last paintings a lot. The woman on the deck chair has a beautiful oriental feel to it, and the last one of the two women has a renaissance feeling, which I really like! Your mixed media piece is great as well. Happy Friday! Hugs xo

ooo wonderful! I love the subtle colors of the last one. But they are all really well done

Crayotic Ramblings said...

Love the two ladies at the bottom!

What did you do for the white. I was always told that watercolor doesn't use white - so the trick of working backwards and around it to keep it white white has been a struggle.

But yours looks textured? Do tell!

Netty...these are gorgeous and you are one talented lady :)

All so beautiful Annette and the work in progress is so Serene and love the added texture :)
