Colour of Summer is Pink.........and the winner of my Blog Birthday Candy

Hi,  The Colour of Summer (see my sidebar) this week is Pink, using this colour is not my favourite choice but thats what challenges are all about arn't they..........and to top it all its Yellow next week sob sob, so will be challenged again......lol

This lady is definitely Pink Challenged, she has just had her hair dyed and is not best pleased with the result as she wanted the same pink as her pet Flamingo and to make matters worse she tried to bleach it out with disasterous results as you can see.  This has been done over a large book page with Black Pen and Acrylics with a digi Flamingo, you may have to enlarge it to see the book print in the face.

There are already some fabulous pieces of art in Pink and so inspiring, so if you get the chance to pop over and have a look you will be thrilled.
PLUS
I am so happy to announce the Winner of my Mystery Birthday Blog Candy.............ta da ......its Cheryl of Cheryl's Creative Cards.  If you could email me Cheryl with your address I will post it out to you this week.  Thank you everyone who took part, it was so much fun pulling a name out of the huge hat and wish I could give everyone a prize.

Thank you for popping in and for your great support, take care and will be visiting you all very soon, Hugs Annette x

No pink? No yellow? The green gave you grief...

I can't wait to see what you do with a color you DO like. Gonna blow that one out of the water!!!

Love the story with your painting-I've had a couple of those bad bleach jobs in the past ;-)
If it was 102 there you wouldn't have trouble with yellow--try some sun beating down on your girl that would get rid of the pink :-)

This just made me smile.. She looks a little sad. I guess I would if I had pink hair.. Well done my friend..

Her beautiful pink hair doesn't disturb me at all. It is close to Pepto Bismol color but not quite. It is her blue lips that are a bit distressing. Is she cold? She couldn't be because this is called the color of summer - pink. This is a fun drawing/painting, Netty.

Pink Lady is forlorn! LOL, I had pink hair once, I was maybe 18, working, and when I dyed my hair, it turned pink!! Wore a scarf day and night until I could dye it again.

I struggled a bit with pink too. I think you did a great job with it. Now to brainstorm for yellow! Good luck. Have a wonderful week! :)
