This lady is definitely Pink Challenged, she has just had her hair dyed and is not best pleased with the result as she wanted the same pink as her pet Flamingo and to make matters worse she tried to bleach it out with disasterous results as you can see. This has been done over a large book page with Black Pen and Acrylics with a digi Flamingo, you may have to enlarge it to see the book print in the face.
There are already some fabulous pieces of art in Pink and so inspiring, so if you get the chance to pop over and have a look you will be thrilled.

No pink? No yellow? The green gave you grief...
I can't wait to see what you do with a color you DO like. Gonna blow that one out of the water!!!
Love the story with your painting-I've had a couple of those bad bleach jobs in the past ;-)
If it was 102 there you wouldn't have trouble with yellow--try some sun beating down on your girl that would get rid of the pink :-)
She has real character. Not sure what she is thinking. LOL Love it.
Gosh that happened to my hair once when i was a teenager, no really, but I was a punk then so it didn't matter lol. Gorgeous pink creation fabulous as always.

You crack me up, Annette! Yellow won't be so bad, really. It's so "summery"!

Absolutely gorgeous Netty and I love her pink 'do' :D. Hugs, Chris xx
Oh boy, I'd be heading for the bleach bottle with this hair. Love the print in the background.
This just made me smile.. She looks a little sad. I guess I would if I had pink hair.. Well done my friend..
Hugs, Linda
Her beautiful pink hair doesn't disturb me at all. It is close to Pepto Bismol color but not quite. It is her blue lips that are a bit distressing. Is she cold? She couldn't be because this is called the color of summer - pink. This is a fun drawing/painting, Netty.
fantastic art netty.i love her pink hair, very retro and stunning texture :D
xx coops xx
Congrats zu Cheryl.... And your pink lady looks wonderful.
Love the pink-I'd really like to know what she's thinking!

Pink Lady is forlorn! LOL, I had pink hair once, I was maybe 18, working, and when I dyed my hair, it turned pink!! Wore a scarf day and night until I could dye it again.
I love this, she looks a little pink and nerdy. :)
I struggled a bit with pink too. I think you did a great job with it. Now to brainstorm for yellow! Good luck. Have a wonderful week! :)
She is so fun, and I love her story!
She's wonderful, so fun! I love her pink hair and blue lips!
I love the texture in this piece. I love her hair at least as art, I wouldn't want to actually have pink hair.
She is fabulous Annette... love your post :)) and her blue lips...
