Artsy Crafty Christmas!

Hi, was struggling to think of a title for this post, but as I was using all PaperArtsy Stamps, except for the greeting which was a Crafty Individual free stamp,  this was the best I could come up with.............mind you its not a bad title is it...........!!

These are not your usual type of Christmas cards, but you see had bought this set of stamps in Birmingham and just had to use them, couldn't help myself...............all the die cuttings were gifts and liked the gothic look of them.  Coloured with Distress Inks.  The bookmark had to be varnished just in case the dye of the inks rubbed off with use.

The Christmas tree at home is up, decorated in Victorian style with lots of homemade decorations.  My husband likes to decorate the hall and he has bought quite a lot of paper decorations which reminds him of his childhood.............plus a magic lantern light.........everybody say aaaaaah.......

Wishing you a Happy Wednesday and take care of yourselves and hope nobody has suffered excess water damage here in the UK.  Hugs Annette x

your home sounds lovely, its nice to have things we remember from past christmas around us, we used to make paper chains from construction paper every christmas, now we can buy fancy paper decorations,I still like the homemade ones, I do love the paper lanterns though, your tags are lovely, I love the vintage look to them,

You'll have to post some 'home' photos - sounds delightful! We've not begun decorating just yet. I really enjoyed your holiday cards, Netty! Very unique - I think anyone would be thrilled to receive them!

Hi Netty, love your Christmas cards. The colours are beautiful. I will be putting my tree up in the next two weeks. I have a decoration that I bought with my Nan well over 40 years ago. :)

Good title. I like that your cards are gothic too. I love old fashioned Christmas trees. I can just imagine a Dickens Christmas at your house in the UK. I'll bet it is magazine quality decorating going on with all your neat hand made decorations. When I was in London, I walked along the area where Scrooge was filmed. Loved that movie!
