I photographed this at an angle which makes it look a bit skew whiff, sorry about that.
The background is made up of Acrylic Squishings and Alcohol Ink Blowing. Stamps are by Papermania and Joanna Sheen. Cannot make up my mind if this is a man or a woman........... Also haven't made up my mind if its going to be a journal cover or a hanging..........am so full of indecisions at the moment.......... thought the following quote very appropriate..............lol
Once I make up my mind, I'm full of indecision. Oscar Levant
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine today and looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend. Thank you for popping in, take care of yourselves, hugs Annette x

Fabulous, Netty, esp the 'squishings' and 'blowings'on the background. The stamp is definitely female - there was a fashion for wearing masculine style shirts in Edwardian times. I think she's a bit of a bluestocking.
Lovely piece, whatever you use it for it will look good! Glad you enjoyed Stratford, lucky you! Valerie
This is wonderful; I love it!

Looks great, choice is good, I'm sure it will end up in a perfect setting.

I've got that stamp, and she's definitely a 'she' - liking the striking colour.
I am loving this. such a wonderful background. So happy to hear you had a happy holiday..
Hugs~
love all your squishings!!!
Can see why some of you think its a She.........but why does she have a stubbly chin............mmmmmmm x
Wow,I love the colours in this. It's really beautiful.
What a fun make, really like it! Have to say, I think it's a woman.... Whatever you decide to do with it, it will be wonderful!
Great work!
Hugs, Heidi:)
WOW Netty! This is a triumph! Adore that crackled background and your squishy 'being' (whatever he/she is:) Hugs, Jenny x
Glad to hear you had a great time Netty.
A fabulous creation here and love that squished background.
Hugs, Fliss xx
I had never though about it not being a woman but then I had not noted the chin! Love your vibrant background colours
Joan

brilliant project however you choose to use it

Wonderful creation Annette. I think it's a woman too. Glad you enjoy your time in Stratford, it's such a beautiful place. Hugs Rita xxx
You are so artistic Netty! Fantastic colours just worked magnetically to draw me in. I think it's a woman (re your comment - happens to some alas - age can be so cruel but she looks in the right age range lol!). Nicola x
on second thoughts I've looked again and no - that's too much stubble - must be male. Nicola again x
I love this wonderful whimsical piece Netty- great imagery( I have used that image and thought it was a she)!
I have a new blog now and you can find me at www.atfoxglovehollow.blogspot.com
take care,
Lori
This is terrific ... you could have a survey and a vote as to what and who is what and who (lol)
This is fabulous Annette, I like the images, and the wonderful background.

I think she may be in "menopause." Oh I so hear you about not being able to make up your mind! Do that all the time! The background is gorgeous and that is one fun image! Hugs!
stunning tag, love the colors and background!
Very pretty, love colors and background. I do not know either or this is man or woman... :) Have a nice day Netty :)
Netty...I love your piece. Who cares if it's a man or a woman...he/she is wonderful! Just call him or her "Pat", a name that can be male or female, too. haha I love your acrylic/alcohol ink background. That looks very cool. I also really like the bright colors you've given to Pat. That piece would look good as a journal cover or a hanging. It's wonderful! Glad you had a nice trip to Stratford on Avon. I would love to go there someday. I also wanted to thank you for your sweet comment. <3 Candy
This is amazing Netty - very cool - love the images and background!
hehehe, great fun Nettie xx
Very cool Annette!!
Wonderful !
Von ♥
Gorgeous background! I sure hope she's a woman as she's the image I used as my avator when I was on F&F!
Cool piece Netty! Always love your technical terms, you know, acrylic squishings...lol...
He/she does not make for a very pretty lady but we can not all be beautiful!!! As always super good and creative but I have to admit I do not have a clue about the techniques you used. "Squishings" and "Blowing"? I am quite familiar with acrylic paint and alcohol ink but "squishings" and "blowing" -- my word. Do you squish and blow at the same time? I love the Oscar Levant quote.
Glad you had a nice time .. as you know, I would dearly love to go back to Merry Old England.
Sandy
Brilliant! Jo x
Glorious colours, and the black on the corrugated card makes for a fabulously funky look! Glad to hear you had a good time in SuA... heading there for work in a couple of weeks, so hoping for some nice weather!

Hi Nettie ♥ This piece is so exciting with all those juicy background colors! So much eye candy here. It's just lovely. I think it would look fab as a hanging. Hugs ~ Rhonda
