Oops I've Tried Again !!

After my huge Boo boo the other day by creating a tag especially for the Art Journey Challenge (create a tag using mainly Art Journey Stamps) and using completely the incorrect stamp, which am so sorry about, I have tried again and this time I definitely know the stamp is by Art Journey, because I had my specs on............lol

The backing of the tag is material on cardboard and then run through an embossing folder, coloured with Distress Inks. Edged with Inca Gold. The main part of the tag has been alcohol inked and the stamp has been copper embossed. I was going to put some words on it, but couldn't make up my mind which to use.

I hope the Art Journey blog will accept this tag as a proper entry this time and I apologise for my error on the stamp previously used.

Hope you all have a terrific day and thank you for coming to see me even though the wine and chocolates are all now gone from Mothers Day, methinks we have an alcoholic chocolate mouse living with us who is downright greedy...........Catch up with you all later, take care, Annette x

ALTERED BOX

Hi,

Just to say am not doing anymore of the 12 Days of Christmas tags for the moment due to lack of supplies, but I have ordered some texture fades today which I like and can use on some of Tim Holtz tag designs, so hopefully will be able to catch up soon.........

Hopefully our kitchen floor will be laid today and my cooker which is in horizontal mode (suspended) at the moment can stand up straight. Still trying to catch up with the multitudes of dust which just flies everywhere and I don't take easily to housework over crafting.........lol

I would like to show you a box which has been altered, it was very tatty and the wood had been chipped off in places. Bought it for 10pence; its a push up box so cannot put anything round the top lip otherwise it will just fall off over time. I will skip the boring bit of sanding it down etc and say I used Airondack Colour Washes, Inka Gold and a seal to stop it rubbing off. The terrific adhesive was a prize from Happy Daze a fabulous pot of glu called Crafters Pick 'The Ultimate' - its brilliant, totally strong and clear when dry.

Am not sure whether to add any more decoration to it, still thinking about that; the inside has been painted the same as the top with the Gold rubbed in.
So any suggestions of decorations are most welcome as my mind has totally gone blank.....

Oh well back to the cleaning.........sob sob and will catch up with you all later. Thank you for coming to see me and for your fabulous support. Take care, Annette x
