There are loads of fabulous artists at the Paint Party and its always such a joy to see their wonderful work.
At long last I have been able to join in with one of the challenges at Dragons Dream Tag it On. This week its Seaside. There are some fab examples from the DT. This tag has been painted with acrylics and texture paste, perfect pearls, Stickles and added some Shells. The stamps are by Scrolls Work and Crafty Individuals; stamped with Archival ink and Big and Juicy. The tag will be going on my Mother's birthday present next week along with this Pyramid Card which uses all Crafty Individual Stamps. Just hope she likes them. Mum is 86 on Wednesday and a beautiful jewellery maker and designer, yep I am a very proud daughter.

Thank you for joining us at Dragon's Dream TIO with your wonderful seaside tag. I grew up in Bournemouth! but on 2nd April 2007 at around the time of that date stamp I was in Gosport being interviewed for a job with the Prison Service. Got the job as well LOL

Not being familiar with this particular Picasso piece, I went online to see what the original looked like. Netty, you have nailed it! The tilt of the head, the facial expressions, the placement of the dove - all are just perfect. Beautiful. I know your teacher will be thrilled.

How cool that your Mom is an artist too ... my Mom is in heaven now and I think she was kinda artsy too, but she was an awesome nurse too and she spent her whole life helping people and little time for herself, so I didn't see the creative side too often.
